This is Andy’s own personal pride and joy. He purchased this 1989 example with body damage and a blown engine and carried out a full nut and bolt rebuild, including stripping the shell back to bare metal. The original 2.3 litre engine was fully rebuilt and incorporating a Prodrive engine management system, was rolling road tuned to produce 265bhp. The suspension was uprated and a bespoke set of wheels was commissioned to suit the car’s geometry. With the exception of the paintwork and upholstery, all the work was carried out by Andy.
